The purpose of the Ayurveda Retreat is to rest and rejuvenate mind body and spirit. Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of what has become the average daily life. Or you may simply want to take a short break from the chaos of traveling around and getting to know the subcontinent.

Take a few days (or more) to nurture your body, mind and senses. Sitting for meditation, practicing yoga asanas and breathing techniques. Receive ayurvedic treatments under the supervision and guidance of an ayurvedic doctor. Nourish yourself with treatments in the form oil massages. Feed your body with soothing ayurvedic foods and your mind with invaluable knowledge of the ancient Indian medical science of Ayurveda.

The retreat will not only provide answers to some of the major questions of a balanced lifestyle, but will also enable you to further explore, apply and practice the principles in your daily life and share this invaluable knowledge with those around you.

Some of the topics we explore throughout the retreat are topics on and around the definition, principles, history and context of ayurveda, a balanced lifestyle according to the ancient science, ayurvedic diet, constitutions, healthy habits and more.

Retreat options range from 3 – 10 days. The longer the retreat, the more in-depth we will delve in the lectures. However, even with a three day retreat, you will leave with a solid understanding of ayurveda, rejuvenated from yogic practice and treatments.
